Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 19065, dated January 25, 2016, the Legislature did authorize the execution of a Legal Services Agreement for use by the Jackson County Drug Task Force with Paul Campo of Williams & Campo, PC, for the period of January 1, 2016, through December 31, 2019, at a cost to the County for 2016 not to exceed $2,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, the Drug Task Force recommends an addendum to the Agreement with Paul Campo to increase the funding for these services by $1,000.00 for 2016, with an increased allocation of $3,500.00 annually and future years subject to appropriation in the then current Jackson County annual budget; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be, and is hereby, authorized to execute an addendum to the Legal Services Agreement with Paul Campo of Lee's Summit, MO, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments including the final payment on the Agreement and addendum thereto, subject to appropriation in the then current County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
