Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 19090, dated February 29, 2016, the Legislature did award a contract to ESRI of Redlands, CA for the furnishing of software maintenance and training services related to the County's ArcGIS Server, for use by the Information Technology Department, as a sole source purchase, at a cost to the County not to exceed $48,089.34; and,
WHEREAS, the Information Technology Department has a credit in the amount of $13,039.64 on its account with ESRI for unused services and training; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the execution of an addendum to the agreement with ESRI for the furnishing of consulting services by ESRI, using the unspent credit, at no additional cost to the County; and,
WHEREAS, the execution of an addendum to this contract is in the best interests of the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to execute an addendum to the contract with ESRI; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract and all addendum thereto.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
