Body
WHEREAS, Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, Inc., has submitted an outside agency funding request for partial funding of its Health Screening Program; and,
WHEREAS, the Health Screening Program provides community health screenings and educational programs as well as community assistance services to citizens living in Jackson County; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to place the funds for this program in the proper spending account; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2016 Health Fund be and hereby is made:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute a Cooperative Agreement on behalf of the County with Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, Inc., in a form to be approved by the County Counselor, at a cost to the County not to exceed $7,707.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement.
