Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 19044, dated January 19, 2016, the Legislature did authorize the execution of a Cooperative Agreement, in the amount of $241,275.00, with the University of Missouri Extension Council to support the Council's staff in health and recreation related programs and services for citizens of Jackson County; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to revise the original budget presented by the University of Missouri Extension Council due to an increase in its budgetary needs for rent and utilities; and,
WHEREAS, an Addendum to the Cooperative Agreement is a suitable mechanism to memorialize the budget revisions; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute an Addendum to the Cooperative Agreement with the University of Missouri Extension Council, at no additional cost to the County, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
