Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 19063, dated January 25, 2016, the Legislature did authorize the execution of agreements with certain outside agencies for the furnishing of anti-drug and anti-violent crime treatment activities and purposes, at an aggregate cost to the County not to exceed $2,721,000.00; and,

WHEREAS, on July 28, 2016, COMBAT issued Request for Proposals 53-16 to award the balance of budgeted funds allocated for treatment programs; and,

WHEREAS, the proposals received pursuant to RFP 53-16 were evaluated by outside experts who made funding recommendations to the Jackson County Drug Commission; and,

WHEREAS, after review of the outside evaluators' recommendations, the Jackson County Drug Commission has recommended that the County Executive be authorized to execute agreements with certain outside agencies engaged in anti-drug and anti-violent crime treatment activities for services from September 1, 2016, and ending on specific dates, as set out below:
