Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 4748, dated July 6, 2015, the Legislature did authorize the acceptance of the Family Court Division's Juvenile Court Diversion Program grant received from the State of Missouri Division of Youth Services; and,
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 4856, dated, June 13, 2016, the Legislature did appropriate additional grant funds for this program; and,
WHEREAS, it is desired to reallocate a portion of grant funds for additional supplies to better achieve the goals of the program; and,
WHEREAS, the grant conditions allow up to a ten percent reallocation of grant funds without a formal request and approval; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary in order to place the grant funds in the proper spending account; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within the 2016 Grant Fund:
