Body
WHEREAS, the Information Technology Department has a need for ongoing hardware and software maintenance and service of the County's Avaya voiceover internet protocol (VoIP) system for the upcoming twelve-month period; and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.4 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a term and supply contract for hardware and software maintenance, service, and monitoring of the VoIP system for use by the Information Technology Department to Arrow Systems Integration of Bloomington, MN, under the terms and conditions set forth in the General Services Administration Contract No. GS-35F-0156V, an existing government contract; and,


WHEREAS, the Director recommends award under section 1030.4, Jackson County Code, 1984, for the reason that this will allow the County to take advantage of discounts offered to large entities; and,

WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any amount, with the availability of funds for specific purchases remaining subject to annual appropriation; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County a...
