Body
WHEREAS, the Sheriff’s Office has a 2009 Ford Crown Victoria Police vehicle that the Office is no longer using and has determined is obsolete; and,
WHEREAS, the Cedar County, Missouri Sheriff’s Office desires to utilize this vehicle and has requested the donation and transfer of this obsolete personal property; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the transfer of this personal property, pursuant to section 1137.2 Jackson County Code, 1984; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the vehicle within the Sheriff’s Office, further described and itemized in Exhibit A, be and hereby are declared surplus, and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to donate and transfer titles of this surplus property to the Cedar County, Missouri Sheriff’s Office, pursuant to chapter 11, Jackson County Code, 1984.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
