Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 18983, dated November 2, 2015, the Legislature did authorize the execution of an agreement with Camp Fire, for its Camp Fire Heartland's Teens in Action program, at a cost to the County not to exceed $7,184.00; and,

WHEREAS, the COMBAT staff has recommended that the County Executive be authorized to extend the Agreement with Camp Fire through December 31, 2016, to allow Camp Fire to utilize the allocation provided to it in 2015, but which it has encountered delays in spending; now therefore,


BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute an extension to the Agreement with Camp Fire, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement and extension thereto.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
