WHEREAS, the County has received a rebate from Kansas City Power & Light for retrofitting the lights in the parking garage located at 505 E. 14th Street, Kansas City, Missouri; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place these funds in the proper spending account so that the funds may be used by the Department of Corrections Facilities Management Division for the repair and maintenance of the department's facilities; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2016 General Fund be and hereby is made:
