Body
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force anticipates an award this fall of the 2016 - 2017 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG); and,

WHEREAS, the Drug Task Force has requested funds from within the Prosecuting Attorney's budget to serve as the grant match for this upcoming JAG grant; and,

WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to place these funds in the appropriate spending account; and,

WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2016 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund be and hereby is made:
