Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Human Resources has undertaken a thorough review of certain job classifications for licensed attorneys-at-law in the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney; and,

WHEREAS, the Director has examined salaries in the corresponding legal offices in Johnson County, Kansas, St. Louis, and Greene Counties, Missouri, and the Cities of Overland Park, Kansas, and Kansas City, Independence, and Lee's Summit, Missouri; and,

WHEREAS, upon the completion of his evaluation and review, the Director has recommended revision to the salary ranges for all attorneys in the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney with the exception of the ranges for attorneys within the Local 42 IAFF bargaining, which were revised in October 2015; and,

WHEREAS, the recommended revisions are in the best interests of the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Enacting Clause. Schedule IV to Chapter 2, Jackson County, 1984, is hereby repealed, and one new schedule enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as Schedule IV, to read as follows:
