AN ORDINANCE appropriating $125,000.00 from the undesignated fund balance of the 2015 Conceal Carry Permit Fund and $47,400.00 from the undesignated fund balance of the 2015 Federal Forfeiture Fund to cover the costs of used vehicles from the Missouri Highway Patrol for use by the Sheriff's Office, as an acquisition from another government.

WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Office desires to purchase used vehicles for its fleet from the Missouri Highway Patrol; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.2 Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends this purchase as an acquisition from another government, at an actual cost to the County of $172,400.00; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place funds available in the Conceal Carry Permit Fund and the Federal Forfeiture Fund in the proper spending account; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2015 Conceal Carry Permit Fund and the undesignated fund balance 2015 Federal Forfeiture Fund be and hereby are made:
