Body
WHEREAS, various County departments have miscellaneous equipment, furniture, and accessories that were acquired for less than $5,000.00, and that they can no longer use; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that said property be declared surplus and unusable and sold at public auction November 7, 2015, to be held at the lower level of the County parking garage located at 14th and Locust; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that certain items of County property described above, be and hereby is declared surplus, and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to dispose of it as provided for in Chapter 11, Jackson County Code, 1984.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
