Body
WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the County and Local 42 of the International Association of Firefighters approved by Resolution 18339, dated December 2, 2013, sets a minimum starting salary for the Trial Team Leader position within the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office; and,
WHEREAS, the starting salary for the Trial Team Leader position set by Schedule IV to Chapter 2 of the County Code is inconsistent with that fixed by the MOU, and should be revised to ensure consistency; and,
WHEREAS, such revision is in the best interests of the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Enacting Clause. Schedule IV to Chapter 2, Jackson County, 1984, is hereby repealed, and one new schedule enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as Schedule IV, to read as follows:
