Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids on Invitation to Bid No. 30-15 for the furnishing of fuel dispensing equipment, repair services, and parts for use by various County departments; and,

WHEREAS, a total of 17 notifications were distributed and two responses were received, one of which was determined to be non-responsive, with the remaining bid as follows:
VENDOR
Petroleum Equipment, Inc.
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
and,



WHEREAS, following evaluation of bids submitted, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that award be made to Petroleum Equipment, Inc., of Kansas City, MO, under the terms and conditions of Invitation to Bid No. 30-15, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid, as set forth in the attached recapitulation and analysis; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.
