Body
WHEREAS, Samuel Christopher Rovenstine of Blue Springs, Missouri, has successfully completed all requirements to attain Scouting's highest honor, the rank of Eagle Scout, and will be recognized at the Eagle Court of Honor on June 27, 2015; and,
 
WHEREAS, Samuel is a member of Boy Scout Troop 1692; and,
 
WHEREAS, to become an Eagle Scout, a young man must earn a minimum of twenty-one merit badges and demonstrate Scout spirit through the Boy Scout Oath and Law, service, and leadership; and,
 
WHEREAS, each Boy Scout must also complete a rigorous Eagle Service Project involving planning, review, and execution and, at completion, a final review and analysis of the results; and,
 
WHEREAS, for his Eagle Scout project, Samuel erected a flag pole and constructed a ceremonial circle at the American Legion Farm; and,
 
WHEREAS, Samuel's proud parents, Steven and Sharon Rovenstine of Blue Springs, Missouri, join in his celebration of this honor; now therefore,
 
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby congratulates Samuel Christopher Rovenstine upon successfully completing all requirements to attain Scouting's highest honor, the rank of Eagle Scout, and extends well-deserved recognition for his contributions to the Jackson County community.

Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
