Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids on Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 7-15 for the furnishing of outpatient substance abuse treatment for use by the Prosecuting Attorney's Drug Court program; and,

WHEREAS, a total of ten notifications were distributed and one response was received and evaluated from the following:
BIDDER

Heartland Center for Behavioral Change
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a contract for the furnishing of outpatient substance abuse treatment to the Heartland Center for Behavioral Change of Kansas City, MO, under the terms and conditions of RFP No. 7-15, for the reason that it is the lowest and best bidder; and,
WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount, with the availability of funds for specific purchases subject to annual appropriation; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award and any extensions; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all paymen...
