Body
WHEREAS, the City of Grandview, Missouri, has requested the use of the remaining balance of $26,166.00 from its County Urban Road System (CURS) account to cover the cost of improvements of the Main Street Phase VII/Highgrove Road Construction project within the City that is a part of the County Urban Road System; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislature finds that the project proposed by the City will benefit the citizens of Grandview and the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that, pursuant to Chapter 28, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to issue a check in the amount of $26,166.00 to the City of Grandview for use on the City's Main Street Phase VII/Highgrove Road Construction project.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
