Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 18730, dated February 17, 2015, the Legislature did authorize a Cooperative Agreement with Children's Mercy Hospital for the furnishing of anti-drug treatment activities and purposes, at a cost to the County not to exceed $52,000.00; and,

WHEREAS, it is desired to increase the amount of Anti-Drug Sales Tax Funds allocated to Children's Mercy Hospital, in an additional amount of $8,000.00; and,

WHEREAS, authorization of this increase in funding is in the best interests of the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the funding level on the Cooperative Agreement authorized by Resolution 18730, dated February 17, 2015, be and hereby is increased, in the additional amount of $8,000.00, for a total authorization of $60,000.00; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the legislature.
