Body
WHEREAS, the Administration recommends sponsorship of Ink Magazine's Middle of the Map Fest - Forum event, to be held on April 16 and 17, 2015; and,
WHEREAS, for its sponsorship, Jackson County will be a "Partner Sponsor" with recognition at forum events and on promotional information and signage at the event; and,
WHEREAS, said sponsorship is in the best interest of the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to issue a check to the Middle of the Map Fest, in the amount of $2,500.00 for sponsorship of the Middle of the Map Fest - Forum to be held April 16 and 17, 2015.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
