Body
WHEREAS, additional funding has been identified within the Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund for certain agencies which are engaged in anti-violent crime and/or anti-drug treatment and prevention activities and purposes; and,
WHEREAS, cooperative agreements for these agencies will be authorized under a separate resolution to be introduced at a later date; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary at this time to place the additional funds in the appropriate spending accounts; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2015 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund be and hereby is made:
