Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 18545, dated June 16, 2014, the Legislature did authorize an Agreement with Carter-Rice Communications for the furnishing of a video production celebrating the 40-year history of the Jackson County Legislature, at a cost to the County not to exceed $3,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, the project developers encountered some unanticipated information technology costs; and,
WHEREAS, the Chairman of the Legislature recommends an Addendum to the Agreement to cover this additional expense, in an amount not to exceed $1,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, execution of an Addendum to the Agreement with Carter-Rice Communication, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor, is in the best interests of the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute an Addendum to the Agreement with Carter-Rice Communications for the furnishing of a video production on the history of the Jackson County Legislature, at an additional cost to the County not to exceed $1,000.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments including final payment on the Agreement and Addendum thereto.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
