Body
WHEREAS, the Truman Heartland Community Foundation has awarded a grant in the amount of $5,011.38 for the purchase of a commercial washing machine for use at the Regional Animal Shelter; and,
WHEREAS, the grant requires matching funds in the amount of $1,192.62, which have been furnished by Great Plains SPCA, the County's contracted manager of the Regional Animal Shelter; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the grant and matching funds in the proper spending account; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2014 Health Fund be and hereby is made:
