WHEREAS, the County has received a payment in the amount of $16,236.00 from Affiliated Auctioneers for the sales proceeds from 22 surplus Sheriff's vehicles sold at auction; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the payment in the proper spending account so that the funds may be used to fund needed repairs to other departmental vehicles; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2014 General Fund be and hereby is made:
