WHEREAS, the County has received a payment in the amount of $21,502.00 from Affiliated Auctioneers for the sales proceeds from six surplus vehicles sold at auction; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the payment in the proper spending account so that the funds may be used to purchase new vehicles using an existing term and supply contract; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2014 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund be and hereby is made:
