Body
WHEREAS, the County has a need for printing services for use by various County departments; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing solicited formal written bids for printing services under Invitation to Bid No. 17-14; and,

WHEREAS, a total of fifty-six notifications were distributed and one response was received from the following:
BIDDER
Service Printing and Graphics
Kansas City (Jackson County), Missouri
and,


WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a twenty-four month term and supply contract with three twelve-month options to extend, for the furnishing of printing letterhead, envelopes, and various business cards, to Service Printing and Graphics, as the best and lowest bidder; and,

WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount, with the availability of funds for specific purchases being subject to annual appropriation; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments to the extent ...
