Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids on Invitation to Bid No. 58-13 for the furnishing of leased copier services for use County-wide; and,
WHEREAS, a total of twenty-one notifications were distributed and seven responses were received, three of which were deemed unresponsive, with the lowest four bids as follows:

WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends award to Knighton Business Solutions of Overland Park, KS, as the lowest and best bid; and,
WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount, with the availability of funds for specific purchases subject to annual appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the award be made as recommended and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the iss...
