RESOLUTION NO. 18328, November 25, 2013

Body
WHEREAS, Boy Scouts Brendan Hess, Alex Magee, Ryan Sanders, David Treece, and Daniel Valmassei have passed the stringent requirements to become Eagle Scouts; and,

WHEREAS, to become an Eagle Scout, a young man must earn twelve required merit badges and a minimum of nine electives, and each of these young men have far exceeded these requirements; and,

WHEREAS, each Boy Scout must also complete a rigorous Eagle Service Project involving planning, review, and execution and, at completion, a final review and analysis of the results; and,

WHEREAS, Brendan's project was the building of an outdoor classroom at Summit Christian Academy Elementary School, Alex's was repairing and repainting the interior and exterior metal stair railings at First Presbyterian Church, Ryan's was repairing, repainting and adding landscaping around the main entrance sign at Pleasant Lea Middle School, David's was replacing the dugout benches on the baseball field and repainting all the bases for the parking lot lights at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, and Daniel's was replacing sidewalks at Hillcrest Ministries transitional housing complex; and,

WHEREAS, each of these young men has been a patrol leader and held other leadership positions in the troop , each is a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say, each has earned the Arrow of Light, and each has achieved many other scouting, school, and civic awards; and,
