Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited formal written bids on Invitation to Bid No. 51-13, for the furnishing of paint and painting supplies for use by various County departments; and,

WHEREAS, a total of fifteen bid notifications were distributed and two responses were received, as follows:

Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

Professional Paint & Coatings, LLC
Independence, MO

WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the contract be divided and awarded to Sherwin Williams, of Kansas City, MO, and Professional Paint & Coatings, LLC, of Independence, MO, under the terms and conditions of Invitation to Bid No. 51-13, as the two lowest and best bidders, to best meet the needs of the using departments and to ensure the ready availability of all required materials, as set forth in the attached recapitulation and analysis; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award and any necessary extensions; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contracts, to the extent ...
