RESOLUTION NO. 18187, June 3, 2013

Body
WHEREAS, the Jail Population Committee, the Department of Corrections, and the Sixteenth Circuit Court of Jackson County desire to implement an inmate detainee risk assessment tool, which has previously been used by the Family Court, in managing jail population; and,

WHEREAS, this tool will provide information to the court in making bond determination, supervised release, electronic monitoring, or detention options; and,

WHEREAS, the Circuit Court will contract with the University of Missouri - Kansas City for the validation study to implement the inmate detainee risk assessment tool; and,

WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to place the necessary funds in the proper spending accounts; and,

WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within the 2013 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund:
