Body
WHEREAS, the County has a need for the installation of data lines for use by the Information Technology Department; and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.4 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a twelve-month term and supply contract, for the furnishing of these services to R.F. Fisher Electric Co., LLC, of Kansas City, KS, under the terms and conditions set forth in the 16th Judicial Circuit Court of Jackson County Contract No. 60291-08, an existing government contract; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has determined that, due to higher volume discounts offered to larger entities, award under the existing government contract is appropriate; and,

WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any amount, with the availability of funds for specific purchases remaining subject to annual appropriation; and,

WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to place a portion of the needed funds in the appropriate spending account; and,

WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within the 2013 General Fund:
