Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 4483, dated November 27, 2012, the Legislature did authorize the acceptance of the Emergency Management Performance Grant from the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency, for use by the Jackson County Department of Emergency Preparedness; and,
WHEREAS, the County received a portion of the grant funds in 2013 related to this grant; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the grant funds in the proper spending account; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the 2013 Health Fund be and hereby is made:
