Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
 
Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "AG" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District, so that there will be transferred from District AG to District RE, a tract of land described as follows:
 
Description:  A tract of land in the Northwest Quarter and the Southwest Quarter of Section 30, Township 47N, Range 30W, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 30; thence South 89 degrees 52 minutes 43 seconds West along the North line of said Southwest Quarter, a distance of 1043.08 feet to the True Point of Beginning, thence South 00 degrees 38 minutes 46 seconds West, a distance of 509.62 feet to a point on the North right of way line of M 150 Highway, as it now exists; thence North 89 degrees 21 minutes 24 seconds West along the North right of way, a distance of 230.00 feet; thence North 00 degrees 38 minutes 46 seconds East, a distance of 581.00 feet; thence South 89 degrees 21 minutes 24 seconds East, a distance of 230.00 feet; thence South 00 degrees 38 minutes 46 seconds West, a distance of 71.38 feet to the Point of Beginning.
 
 
Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Robert A. and Julie A. Hertzog (RZ-2013-493), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted 8 to 0 to recommend APPROVAL of this application after a public hearing on January 17, 2013, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
 
 
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
