Body
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney and the Carpenters= District Council of Greater St. Louis & Vicinity Union recommend approval of the proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) a copy of which is attached; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed MOU incorporates minor changes to the current MOU between the parties; and,
WHEREAS, this MOU shall be in effect upon approval through December 31, 2016; and,
WHEREAS, the approval of this MOU is in the best interest of the health, welfare and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the attached MOU is authorized to be executed by the County Executive on behalf of the County.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
