Body
WHEREAS, the City of Lee's Summit is constructing a low pressure sewer system to serve the north and south portions of Prairie Lee Lake, which includes odor control stations for the north and south systems; and,
 
WHEREAS, the above-ground pump station enclosure and electrical rack will be located on the south side of Todd George Road in Fleming Park, will include a 10' x 11' concrete pad, and will be fenced; and,
 
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has recommended that the County execute the attached temporary construction easement and permanent easement with the City of Lee's Summit for the construction of an odor control station; and,
 
WHEREAS, the City has agreed to pay the County easement and processing fees required by the County Code, totaling $2,289.40, and
 
WHEREAS, the execution of the attached easements is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
 
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the attached Temporary Construction Easement and Permanent Easement are hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the County the Agreements and any other documents necessary to give effect to this Resolution.
 
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
