Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 4273, dated November 29, 2010, the Legislature did authorize the issuance of $1,180,000.00 principal amount of tax-exempt special obligation bonds (MyARTS Building Project), Series 2010; and,
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 4295, dated February 22, 2011, the Legislature did authorize the issuance of $39,500,000.00 principal amount of special obligation refunding and improvement bonds (Truman Sports Complex/Truman Medical Center Projects), Series 2011; and,
WHEREAS, due to an oversight, the appropriation of the remaining bond proceeds for these two projects was inadvertently left out of the 2012 Special Obligation Bond - Capital Project Fund in the adoption of the 2012 budget; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the necessary funds in the appropriate spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the 2012 Special Obligation Bond - Capital Project Fund be and hereby is made:
