WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has a need for a spin/relief grinder for use at the County's Fred Arbanas Golf Course at Longview Lake; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited proposals for this equipment under Request for Proposals No. 42-12; and,

WHEREAS, a total of forty-one notification were distributed and three responses were received, as follows:

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a contract for the purchase of an Accu-Master spin/relief grinder to Van Wall Equipment of Olathe, KS, under the terms and conditions of Request for Proposals No. 42-12, at a cost to the County not to exceed $26,969.00, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that certain existing golf course property detailed in the attached documentation, be declared obsolete and unusable surplus property and be made available for trade-in; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any docum...
