Intro
WHEREAS, the County and NorthWest Communities Development Corporation (NWCDC) of Independence, MO, propose to enter into a Cooperative Agreement whereunder NWCDC will provide a program for senior citizens in Jackson County, at a cost to the County not to exceed $86,478.00; and,

WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to place the funds in the proper spending account; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2012 Health Fund be and is hereby made:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute a Cooperative Agreement with NWCDC, to provide funding for its 2012 senior citizen's programs at a cost to the County not to exceed $86,478.00, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the legislature.
