WHEREAS, due to an increased workload in the Jackson County Municipal Court, the court has requested funding for a new full-time clerk position to increase customer service, alleviate workload on current staff, and take on additional responsibilities for the court, at a cost to the County of $39,779.00; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the necessary funds in the appropriate spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made:
