IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI

A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute an addendum to the contract with Mitchell Humphrey and Company of St. Louis, MO for the purpose of providing financial systems software for use by the Finance and Purchasing Department, at a cost to the County not to exceed $6,800.00, as a sole source purchase.

Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 15550, dated June 27, 2005, the Legislature did authorize the execution of a contract with Mitchell Humphrey and Company for financial systems software under the terms and conditions of an existing government contract; and,
WHEREAS, on March 23, 2009, a first addendum to the contract authorized the purchase of the budgeting module for the financial systems software; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.1 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing requests an increase to this contract which will provide the updating and implementation of the budgeting module for the FMS Financial System Software, at an additional cost to the County not to exceed $6,800.00, as a sole source purchase; and,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute an addendum to the contract with Mitchell Humphrey and Company of St. Louis, MO, and any and all other documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award, in forms to be approved by the County Counselor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract and addendum thereto.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
