Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids under the terms and conditions of Bid No. 26-10 for the furnishing of a covered salt storage building for use by the Public Works Department; and,
WHEREAS, a total of nineteen (19) solicitations were distributed, and two (2) responsive bids were received as follows:

Legacy Building Solutions $50,500.00
Belle Plaine, IA
N.W. Rogers Construction $73,340.00
Blue Springs (Jackson), MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has recommended that award be made to Legacy Building Solutions of Belle Plaine, IA, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
