Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB200102 for the furnishing of carnival supplies and apparatus for use by the Parks and Recreation Department for the upcoming twelve (12) month period, with options to extend for two (2) additional terms of twelve (12) months each; and,

WHEREAS, a total of twenty two (22) notifications were distributed, and two (2) responses were received and evaluated as follows:
Vendors Total Bid
A-1 Promotions, LLC $4,090.00
Pleasant Hill, MO

Fun Services $5,521.00
Shawnee, KS
and,

WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that the contract be awarded to A-1 Promotions, LLC, of Pleasant Hill, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award and any extensions; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract and any subsequent extensions, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency have been made in the then current Jackson County budget.
