INTRODUCED BY Henry C. Rizzo and James D. Tindall, County Legislators
 
 
Body
WHEREAS, pursuant to Invitation to Bid No. 48-09, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids for the furnishing of uniforms for use by the Sheriff's Office; and,
 
WHEREAS, a total of thirty-four (34) solicitations were distributed and four (4) responses were received, three (3) of which were deemed non-responsive; and,
 
WHEREAS, the Director recommends that the contract be awarded to The Armory LLC of Kearney, MO, as the lowest and best bid; now therefore,
 
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contracts.
 
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
