Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 16492, dated January 7, 2008, and by Ordinance 3998, dated June 2, 2008, the County Legislature did authorize the execution of agreements with certain outside agencies for anti-drug treatment and prevention activities and purposes, which included Truman Medical Center Behavioral Health and Comprehensive Mental Health Services, Inc.; and,

WHEREAS, Truman Medical Center Behavioral Health delivered treatment services for the JAM Program in 2008, but a contract was not executed allowing the agency to invoice for the services; and,

WHEREAS, Comprehensive Mental Health Services, Inc., executed contracts with the County for treatment and prevention services in 2008, delivered the contract services, and invoiced the County for the services but, due to administrative oversight, was never paid for these services; and,

WHEREAS, with the start of the new fiscal year, the 2008 appropriations to pay for these services have lapsed, so that a reappropriation is necessary to cover these costs; and,

WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said reappropriation; now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following reappropriation from the fund balance of 2009 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund be and hereby is made:
