AN ORDINANCE rescinding Resolution 16729 dated October 6, 2008, and appropriating $50,000.00 from the fund balance of the 2008 Prosecuting Attorney Bad Check Fund to cover the costs of moving the Bad Check Unit from its current location.

Body
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney's Bad Check Unit is moving from its current location and requires funding to install a customer counter with a security window, to secure the space with interior walls, and to purchase cubicles for office space, thus allowing the Unit to better serve its customers; and,
WHEREAS, a appropriation is necessary to cover these costs; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the fund balance the 2008 Prosecuting Attorney Bad Check Fund:
