IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI

AN ORDINANCE appropriating $65,000.00 from the fund balance of the 2008 General Fund, $20,000.00 from the fund balance of the 2008 Assessment Fund, and $75,000.00 from the fund balance of the 2008 Park Fund to cover the costs for unanticipated legal expenses and operating costs.

WHEREAS, several line items have been exhausted due to unanticipated legal expenses within the County Counselor's budget; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to cover these costs; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the fund balance of 2008 General Fund be and hereby is made:
