WHEREAS, to Jackson County Municipal Court was established earlier this year pursuant to chapter 18 of the County Code; and,
WHEREAS, inasmuch as the Court's establishment postdated the adoption of the 2008 County budget, it is now appropriate that a budget be adopted for the Court's operations;
now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made from the unappropriated surplus of the 2008 General Fund:
