BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE, a tract of land described as follows:

The 39.4 ± acres are approximately located at the southwest corner of Union School Road and Old Atherton Road and specifically described as part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 16, Township 50, Range 31, lying west of the Public Road, known as the Independence & Atherton road, more particularly described as:
Description: Commencing at the northeast corner of Section 16, Township 50, Range 31, thence north 87?39'54" west, 1857.67 feet to the Point of Beginning thence south 08?14'32" west, 730.00 feet; thence north 02?14'32" east, 730.00 feet to the northwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 16; thence south 87?39'54" east along the north line of said Northeast Quarter, 769.90 feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 12.91 acres more or less.
ALSO: a part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 16, Township 50, Range 31, lying west of the Public Road, known as the Independence & Atherton road described as follows:
