Body
WHEREAS, Public Water Supply District No. 13 of Lee's Summit, MO, has requested an ingress/egress easement across a portion of Jackson County park property from Colbern Road (at Blackwell Road) north to the Water District's landlocked property, as more fully described in the attached Easement Agreement, due to the relocation of a driveway previously used; and,
WHEREAS, the Acting Director of Parks and Recreation has determined that the permanent easement will have no adverse effect on park property and recognizes the necessity of the Water District's access to its landlocked property; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the attached Permanent Ingress/Egress Easement Agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the County.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
